    CRM uses an integrated software solution to process customer data, giving organizations greater awareness and control over customer interactions while lowering costs and increasing efficiency. It works by allowing multiple users across an organization to record, track and analyze the interactions that everyone in the company has had with a given customer.

    A CRM is customized to the organization and ties together all existing databases and information sources to give a more holistic view. The structure and organization lend themselves to more complex analysis by managers and decision makers.
